Without great employees, Arizona Fire & Water Restoration, Inc. would not be the successful business it is today. We would like to introduce our management team to you, the potential customer, so that you may have a better understanding of who we are and what each of our team members do.
Our Owner and President is Lyle Book. Having been in the construction industry since 1966, Lyle's construction experience enhances his knowledge in the damage restoration and reconstruction industry. He has held certifications issued by the IICRC Certification for Applied Microbial Remediation Technician, Water Damage Restoration, Fire Damage Restoration, Smoke Damage Restoration, Advanced Odor Remediation, and Carpet/upholstery Cleaning. In addition, Lyle also completed the IICRC-approved vortex (top-down) drying school at Chuck DeWald's drying school in Tennessee, and received certification in vortex drying. Having this certification resulted in Arizona Fire & Water Restoration, Inc. being the first restoration company in the Phoenix area to offer vortex (top-down) drying. In addition to the many certifications held, Lyle has been called upon to be an expert witness in several court cases involving construction defects, fire & smoke odor damage, mold remediation and structure drying emergency services. His background and knowledge in microbial remediation has also enabled him to serve as an umpire on a mold-related case for a major insurance company. Collectively, the numerous certifications and growing knowledge of the restoration and reconstruction industry has enabled Lyle to manage and operate a very successful and prosperous restoration business in the Phoenix metropolitan area. In 2004, Lyle became the qualifying party for the company's two contractor licenses.
